After many years of our family taking in and caring for animals we decided to become a non profit rescue & in 2018 “Two Hands Farm & Rescue” was born. Currently we have many animals that stay with us sanctuary style. Right now we are home many cats and dogs, goats, pigs, bunnies & ferrets and many birds (chickens, ducks & quail). In the next few years we hope to buy a larger farm where we can give our current rescues some more space, as well purchase more barns and kennels so we can help more animals . We partner mostly with shelters and rescues in the South to rescue cats and dogs and are always looking for local foster families to help us with our rescue efforts.
(Please see our foster and adoption options on our foster & adopt page)
Most of our farm animals come from Maine ( and surrounding states) and are surrendered when owners can not care for them properly. Currently we are pretty busy here with our rescues. We have space for a few more goats and smaller pigs but are pretty full otherwise. With that said, please feel free to reach out and we will try to direct you to other rescues or help you with rehoming in the community
( We are also always looking for farm fosters to help out with these placements as well)
